Ablenkian

Ablenkian was one of the Dragon riders, a group of beings with a unique talent for taming dragons. Ablenkian served along with his kin in the Zarosian Empire, known for Venator ranking,[1] riding the dragon Hekala.

In the Battle of Carrallanger, he once saved Corveth, a fellow Zarosian, with Hekala as Corveth was being nearly consumed by flames.[2]

When Zamorak betrayed Zaros, the small number of Dragon riders were in an uneasy position. Some of them defected to Zamorak, but Ablenkian remained loyal to Zaros; nevertheless he was branded a traitor by the Zarosians. Hekala was killed by Corveth at some point,[3] before Ablenkian eventually being hunted down and killed by a pack of ripper demons[4] as he was fleeing into the forests of Forinthry.[5][6]
