Adamantite rock

From Old School RuneScape Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

An adamantite rock is a rock containing adamantite. A player with a Mining level of 70 or higher can mine adamantite ore from adamantite rocks. Each rock grants 95 Mining experience for each ore mined. After being mined, an adamantite rock takes 4 minutes to respawn. Players may want to employ a world switch tactic due to the scarcity of available ore.

Wearing either superior mining gloves or expert mining gloves while mining an adamantite rock grants a 16.66% chance for the rock to not deplete upon mining an adamantite ore, allowing you to mine an additional ore before depleting.

Pre roll drops[edit | edit source]

A gem table rolls before the main drop table.[1] There's a chance to receive nothing here so that players can receive no items from a rock even if they are guaranteed to receive an ore in the main drop table.[2] The table gets more likely to be rolled if the player has a glory amulet equipped: the probability grows from 1/256 to 1/86.[3]

Main drops[edit | edit source]

The probability for a player to receive an adamantite ore drop depends on the player's mining level. The rock will deplete after receiving the adamantite ore, unless affected by the effect of superior or expert mining gloves.
