Antipoison(1) detail.png

Antipoison potions are made by mixing marrentill and unicorn horn dust in a vial of water, giving 37.5 Herblore experience. This requires level 5 Herblore. Players may also purchase them from the Apothecary in Varrock for a cadava berry, a limpwurt root and 5 coins. Members can purchase them at Jiminua's Jungle Store on Karamja. There is also a spawn point in the Observatory Dungeon in a chest north-east of the stairs leading up to the Observatory.

Antipoison potions cure poison and provide immunity for 90 seconds. If the player adds roe to a 2-dose potion it will become a 2-dose antipoison mix, which heals 3 Hitpoints in addition to curing poison.

It should be noted that Antidote++ cures poison, provides immunity to poison for 12 minutes, and is also the cheapest alternative.

Antipoison(1) spawns infinitely in the chest north-east of the stairs to the Observatory.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Due to potions being a part of the members-only Herblore skill and poison-causing effects being restricted to members-only monsters and items, antipoison had been a members-only item since its creation. Antipoison potions were only made available to free-to-play players on 3 May 2018, with the introduction of Bryophyta (the first free-to-play monster capable of poisoning players).
