Barcrawl card detail.png

The barcrawl card records player's progress in the Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl miniquest. It is given to player by the Barbarian guard when they first try to enter the Barbarian Outpost north of Baxtorian Falls. If players try to read the card after finishing the crawl they will be told: "You are too drunk to be able to read the barcrawl card."

Passing the Barcrawl test gives the player access to the outpost, although in order to access the agility course within they still require 35 agility.

Completing Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl is a requirement for the Horror from the Deep quest during which players must talk to Gunnjorn inside of the agility course to obtain a spare key to the Lighthouse. It is also a requirement for the Scorpion Catcher quest, as one of the scorpions is inside the outpost (however the agility level is not required since the scorpion is located at the entrance section).

See Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl for more info.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Should the player drop the card to obtain a duplicate from the Barbarian guard, while already having progress at completing the miniquest, all progress will be lost. From an observation standpoint, losing the card doesn't reset the progress, but speaking to the Barbarian guard (without a card in possession) does.
  • Should the player wish to keep a duplicate as a souvenir, they should do the drop-trick to get copies and, before completing the miniquest, drop it again to keep it.
  • It is possible to redo the miniquest by going to one of the bars with the card in the player's inventory; however, they will be unable to enter the agility course until they complete the quest again.
