Barrels with apples can be found on the Lady Zay, a ship that players can use to travel to the Lunar Isle and Pirates' Cove. One barrel filled with rotten apples can also be found west of the Lunar altar. Players can pick cooking apples or rotten apples from the corresponding barrels. Each time the player picks an apple, the barrel has a 1 in 3 chance of emptying.[1] Once emptied, they refill after 24 seconds.
