The barrelchest anchor is obtained after killing Barrelchest in The Great Brain Robbery quest. 60 Attack and 40 Strength are required to wield it. Players receive this item in a broken state and must pay Smith on the docks of Mos Le'Harmless a fee of 230,000 coins to repair the anchor. Note that Book o' piracy is needed to properly speak with Smith. If it is lost, players can retrieve another damaged anchor from Brother Tranquility or purchase a repaired one from Perdu for 290,000 coins.
The barrelchest anchor's stats are almost equal to Dharok's greataxe. It is well known as a PKing weapon, used in combos such as anchor to Granite maul specials, which is effective due to the fact that the anchor has a delayed hit, allowing it to easily stack with the maul's two blows.
Special attack[edit | edit source]
The barrelchest anchor has a special attack, Sunder, which doubles the player's accuracy, increases max damage by 10%, and lowers the opponent's Attack, Defence, Ranged, or Magic level (chosen at random from among those still above 1) by 10% of the damage dealt. This consumes 50% of the player's special attack energy.

Treasure Trails[edit | edit source]
The barrelchest anchor (broken anchor does not work) is the item Falo requires players to show him when he sings about: It can hold down a boat or crush a goat, this object, you see, is quite heavy.
