A beehive is a piece of interactive scenery where players can obtain buckets of wax, used in Merlin's Crystal and Troll Romance, provided they have insect repellent in their inventory or are wearing a full set of the beekeeper's outfit. If they do not, the player will take 2 hitpoints of damage and not receive the item they were going after.
Being next to a beehive is required to create the bee on a stick, used in forestry events, by combining powdered pollen with logs and a ball of wool, resulting in 10 bees on a stick. Doing so requires the player to have 35 Woodcutting and 50 Hunter.
