Big Mo chathead.png

Big Mo was a travelling sales and businessman supposedly from Zeah[1] who visited the mainland for a period of 30 days. He was located in a random location each day, and was only available during May 2015. Once per day during May 2015, he offered players a clue scroll for 50 coins. The tier of clue scroll was random each day.

Each day at midnight (00:00) GMT, Big Mo moved to a new location. His location was hinted by the official Old School RuneScape Twitter feed.

A total of 104,405 players spoke to Mo, 88,527 of whom bought 1 clue. 46,968 players bought 4 or more clues and only a total of 1,700 players bought a clue every single day during the event.

He made a reappearance in the Realm of Memories during the 20th Anniversary event.

Changes[edit | edit source]

Date Changes
30 April 2015

Throughout May you might find yourself bumping into Big Mo. Big Mo is a businessman and salesman from overseas who has decided to take a trip around the map between May 1st and May 31st in an effort to get his hands on some interesting and valuable wares.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Big Mo mentions he is from a distant land beyond Karamja. Zeah was later released, but in the Realm of Memories he says he "may or may not" be from Zeah and deliberately leaves his origin ambiguous.
  • Big Mo has a younger brother, Little Mo.
  • The 31st of May clue is a reference to a Star Wars joke from the series Family Guy, in which Emperor Palpatine says something similar as his way to create great Star Wars dialogue.
