Cactus seeds can be planted in a cactus patch found in Al Kharid and the Farming Guild. They require level 55 Farming to plant. Growth time is approximately 9 hours. Players can harvest cactus spines from the mature plant, which often fetch a high price due to their uses in yew farming and Herblore and lack of supply.
Ayesha in Al Kharid or Alan in the Farming Guild will look after your growing cactus plant in exchange for 6 cadava berries.
Cactus seeds are dropped by Aberrant spectres, Dagannoth (Lighthouse), Ice giants, Moss giants, Ogres, Cave horrors and other monsters. They can also be obtained by pickpocketing a Master Farmer.
