Anyone know where this page went? It definitely used to exist until at least a week or two ago - I had it bookmarked 126.96.36.199 16:40, September 15, 2016 (UTC)
Not sure what happened here but the page ended up deleted, restored from http://oldschool.runescape.wiki/wiki/Calculator:Other/Miscellania?direction=next&oldid=1701983 , it may yet need further fixing.
Update with column for "long term profit"[edit source]
Hello, I notice that the mtk calculator doesn't seem to imply any calculations for long-term profit, as it immediately rounds the products gained. Long term profit column would use non rounded values to calculate the extra gained with each job.
This is especially useful when one doesn't collect daily, or when you are not keeping 100% approval daily (or even for the '5' extra). A big example would be the nests from maples: it currently just assumes 8 nests daily, while in fact you get 8.92 nests daily. This means that if you collect every two days you earn another nest (and the contents) extra.
So I propose a column which takes the actual unrounded numbers into account so that people may know what to use if they "don't know how long mtk is last emptied".
Citations needed?[edit source]
Well considering this is a wiki - I wonder where is the data coming from for this calculator? Or if it is original research, should that be on a wiki (violates the no original research policy). Or even if we don't have a policy against original research, the steps to redo the research need to cleared up so that anyone can verify the data.
Dark mode not supporting table background/text color[edit source]
The text color in the table turns light in dark mode, but the background color for the majority of the table is already light, which makes it hard to read. --DaniDipp (talk) 22:31, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
Calculator broken as of earlier this week[edit source]
Values for the minimum and expected net profits for Mining and Woodcutting are now both frozen at 0
Mismatch with table in Managing Miscellania article[edit source]
The numbers in this calculator should display the same information as the table in this article, but they're calculating everything differently. Not entirely sure what the primary sources are or how to fix it. For example, this calculator says 204 mahogany logs per day, but the table says 223.
Correcting daily amount[edit source]
Thanks to PiPsteer correcting the daily amount of coal, just found out most of the daily amount may be outdated. At the moment Mining , Hardwoods (Mahogany logs), Fishing, Hardwoods (both), herbs, Woodcutting (Maple logs) have been verified. Will verify the rest this week as well.
