A player wearing the carpenter's outfit.

The carpenter's outfit is an experience-boosting set that grants bonus Construction experience when worn. It provides a small boost to experience received when training Construction – a total of 2.5% when the full set is equipped. This bonus does not affect the reward for finishing a Construction contract or for construction experience rewarded for turning in long bones and curved bones to Barlak. Pieces of the outfit may be purchased from the Mahogany Homes Reward Shop using carpenter points obtained from completing tasks for Mahogany Homes' clients, costing 2,000 carpenter points in total.

The entire set can be stored in a magic wardrobe in a player-owned house costume room.

Unlike some other purchasable experience-boosting sets, all pieces of the carpenter's outfit have an equivalent boost per point, at a value of 0.1% per 100 points. This means that to maximise the bonus of the construction outfit, there is a marginal benefit to obtaining the cheapest items first, though it is advisable to first purchase the plank sack at the cost of 350 points if going for the whole set as it can greatly increase the efficiency of mahogany homes runs.
