Challenge scrolls are riddles given to players by an NPC during a Treasure Trail. Challenge scrolls appear in all difficulty level clues except for easy and master levels. Players must solve the challenge scroll in order to advance in their Treasure Trail. The challenge scroll is not a separate step in the Treasure Trail.

The questions for the challenge scrolls are always the same. Players do not have to read the challenge scroll in order to answer the question. Players only need to talk to the NPC again after receiving the scroll to answer the answer. There are no penalties for incorrect answers.
