The Chapel in a player-owned house is a room where the player can recharge Prayer and receive extra Prayer experience for bones.
This room can be built with 45 Construction and 50,000.
There are 7 hotspots available:
Altar[edit | edit source]
Altars can be used to recharge Prayer points, and provide a place to sacrifice bones for greater Prayer experience than burying them.

Lamps[edit | edit source]
Torches and candlesticks built in the lamp hotspot are purely decorative; however, incense burners built here can be lit to provide an extra 50% experience bonus each to the Prayer experience granted by sacrificing bones on the altar. With both lit, they provide a 100% experience bonus. Players must use a tinderbox to light the burners and must supply a clean marrentill for each burner.
There appear to be two lamp hotspots in the room, but building an item of furniture in either one will build it in both places at once. Therefore, players only need one set of materials.

Icons[edit | edit source]
The chapel aligns to either Guthix, Saradomin, Zamorak, or Bob depending on the icon chosen. The default alignment is to Saradomin if no icon is built.
The icon that is built determines the theme of the furniture in the Chapel. For example, players with a Guthix icon will have Guthix's symbol on the Chapel's windows and on their altar. Players who have a Zamorak icon will have the statues be of Zamorak and will have Zamorak's symbol on their altar.
