The Cook's letter is an item used during the 2019 Birthday event. It was given to the player by the Cook, to be given to the Squire in the White Knights' Castle in exchange for Vyvin's wine.

Transcript[edit | edit source]

The following text is transcluded from Transcript:Cook's letter.

Dear Squire,

I heard you've got a birthday coming soon, but as a squire, you probably can't afford a very good party.

As the Head Chef to His Grace the Duke of Lumbridge, I would be happy to place my culinary talents at your disposal, creating for you a truly delicious birthday cake.

My prowess in the preparation of birthday cakes is legendary; hardly a newcomer arrives in Lumbridge without rapidly becoming familiar with my work in the field.

I will make you a birthday cake FREE OF CHARGE, if you will grant me just one small favour. I need some of Sir Vyvin's wine, from his private collection.

Please give it to the bearer of this letter. I'm sure Sir Vyvin won't notice; he's getting older, and I hear he can no longer tell one sword from another.

Yours faithfully,
The Cook

P.S. Pop round to my kitchen whenever you want your birthday cake. I might need you to fetch some ingredients first, though.
