Cooked chicken is a type of food that can be obtained by cooking a raw chicken on a fire or cooking range, granting 30 experience when successful. Players may burn the chicken while cooking one, resulting in burnt chicken; the burn rate while cooking these will decrease as players reach higher Cooking levels. It will stop burning entirely at Cooking level 34 on both ranges and fires.
Eating a chicken restores 3 hitpoints. This is common food source for low level players, as it is easily obtainable and does not require a cooking level to cook. There is a respawn of this item on the 1st floor[UK]2nd floor[US] of the Falador shield shop.
