Description[edit | edit source]

Parts of this article are copyrighted by Jagex.
It has a direct quote, copied verbatim, from Old School RuneScape or the Old School RuneScape website.
The crimson swift is a tropical bird that typically lives in dense jungle areas. Subtlety is not one of this bird's strong points, its striking red plumage ensuring it will be visible wherever it goes, making it a popular first bird for hunters and spotters alike.

Hunting technique[edit | edit source]

A crimson swift being caught.

Set up a bird snare and wait until a bird gets caught. The same bird snare may be reused.

Bird snares are available for purchase in Hunter shops, obtained with the Hunter Kit spell in the lunar spellbook or from the south-western most crate of the Land's End bank.

Multiple traps[edit | edit source]

Bird snaring can be done with multiple traps at once, with the maximum number of traps depending on the player's Hunter level.
