|Released||31 May 2006 (Update)|
|Location||Player-owned house or Servants' Guild|
|Examine||Blimey, a Demon Butler!|
He is the most expensive servant, with a required payment of 10,000 coins for every eight of his services, but provides the best service, with an item capacity of 26 and a trip time of 7 seconds. If asked to serve dinner, he will provide curry for players seated at a table in a dining room.
Alathazdrar began his trade as a servant to demon nobility; his previous clients include Thammaron and Delrith. He has also spent some time as ferryman in the Grim Underworld. However, he claims to have grown tired of "the incessant shadows and hellfire" and as a result departed from the Underworld to seek out human employers. Alathazdrar ended up as a member of the Servants' Guild in Ardougne, and is the most accomplished servant for hire there.
If building oak larders to train Construction, it is best to have the Demon Butler fetch oak planks when you have 8 planks in your inventory, as he can hold 26 items, so you can take another Larder worth from him and whilst you're making the next larder he will be back by the time its made for you to continuously make them. However, if building oak dungeon doors, the Butler is a better servant than the Demon Butler as he is cheaper and can still deliver the materials in the time it takes you to make them.

- He has a similar appearance and chathead to Sergeant Damien, the drill demon.
- Alathazdrar is one of the very few demons in Old School RuneScape who is friendly to players.
- Alathazdrar has rare blue text when in dialogue with players, shared only by dialogue with Hazelmere from The Eyes of Glouphrie quest, implying the demon butler talks to players telepathically.
