The dragon crossbow is a crossbow that is stronger than the rune crossbow. It requires a Ranged level of 64 to wield, and can fire bolts up to and including dragon bolts. It has an attack range of 7 increased to 9 with longrange.
Dragon crossbows can be made through the Fletching skill at level 78; a player must first cut a magic stock for the crossbow from magic logs, granting 70 Fletching experience. Then, a player must add dragon limbs to the stock with a hammer in their inventory, granting 135 experience and making an unstrung dragon crossbow. Finally, they must string the crossbow with a crossbow string, granting 70 experience. Creating a dragon crossbow from raw materials grants 275 Fletching experience in total.

A player performs the special attack of the Dragon crossbow,
Annihilate.
The crossbow has a special attack, Annihilate, which drains 60% of the special attack bar and hits up to 9 enemies in a 3x3 area. The player will roll a hit between 0 and the usual maximum hit from the regular attack. The primary target of Annihilate will take 20% extra damage, and all other targets will take 20% less damage. For example, if a hit of 25 is rolled, the primary target will get 30 damage and the other targets will get 20 damage. If used in a single-way combat area, the attack will still work but only hit one target with 20% extra damage. It allows enchanted bolt effects.
