Recipe for Disaster
|Examine||A limb of the fabled Dramen tree.|
|Store price||Not sold|
The Dramen branch is cut from the Dramen tree found in the dungeon below Entrana island. Cutting it from the Dramen tree requires 36 Woodcutting. It can be crafted into a Dramen staff with a knife and 31 Crafting, allowing access to the lost city of Zanaris and to the fairy ring transportation network.
NOTE: Players must have started the Lost City quest and have the leprechaun tell them about the Dramen Staff BEFORE they can obtain the branch. Otherwise, the player will receive the message, "The tree seems to have an ominous aura to it. You do not feel like chopping it down," when attempting to chop it down.
To obtain a Dramen branch, players must travel to Entrana and make their way to the northern part of the island. They must climb down the ladder into the Entrana Dungeon and kill the level 25 Zombies until they receive a bronze axe as a drop. Then they must proceed through the dungeon, past the greater demons and into the room with the Dramen tree, where they can use the axe to chop it for branches.
Uses in quests[edit | edit source]
During the Lost City quest, the player must chop a Dramen branch to make a Dramen staff to access the Lost City of Zanaris. When they try to chop the Dramen tree, the Tree spirit that guards the Dramen tree will appear and attack the player, and the player must defeat the Tree spirit before they can acquire any branches from the tree.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- There is a glitch which can sometimes occur when opening your bank or scrolling too quickly within your bank, where the inventory icon may become animated. This also affects other animated items such as the Fire cape and Magic logs.
- When you mouseover the tree, the tool tip reads "Chop down Dramen Tree," but the act of chopping it provides a branch. This is different from other trees, where the "Chop down" action provides logs and secateurs are required to obtain branches.
