Pink skirt detail.png

"Enjifern" was the name originally given to an unobtainable item that exists in the game cache. It was created to replace the noted form of the Display tea, which was made untradeable. Since items could not be fully removed once created, Enjifern was added in a hidden update in 2005 to fill this slot.

The name and examine were designed to be inconspicuous, but the actual item is just a copy of a pink skirt. If players attempted to view Enjifern in game by using cheating software, they would be given a Hex edit detected instead.

In RuneScape, the item later became viewable via Quick Chat, causing much confusion. It has since been renamed to Clue scroll.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The original name "Enjifern" is a made-up word, but it is possibly a reference to a Jagex staff member who was 'truly fun to have around'.
