Ensouled dragon head detail.png

An ensouled dragon head is an item which can be dropped by chromatic dragons. It is used to gain Prayer experience by using the level 90 Magic spell Master Reanimation from the Arceuus spellbook using 4 Soul runes, 2 Blood runes, and 4 Nature runes. When a player reanimates an ensouled dragon head, a reanimated dragon will appear and grant 1,560 Prayer experience after being killed.

Ensouled heads can be reanimated anywhere as long as the head is on the ground within the 31x31 area centred on its initial drop location and has not been put into the bank, trade screen, Grand Exchange, or price checker.[1][2] Otherwise, it must be taken to the Dark Altar in Arceuus to be reanimated.

Using a knife on Kbd heads will return three ensouled dragon heads.

Vorkath's head can be used in place of an ensouled dragon head for Master Reanimation.

Note: The dragon hunter lance does work on the Reanimated dragon[3].

The version obtained from the dragon can be reanimated in the same area that it was dropped. It's untradeable. If you try to put it in the trade screen or GE, it transforms to a tradeable version that can only reanimate at the Dark Altar."
