Ensouled dragon head detail.png

An ensouled dragon head is an item which can be dropped by chromatic dragons. It is used to gain Prayer experience by using the level 93 Magic spell Reanimate Dragon from the Arceuus spellbook using 4 Soul runes, 2 Blood runes, and 4 Nature runes. When a player reanimates an ensouled dragon head, a reanimated dragon will appear and grant 1,560 Prayer experience after being killed.

The head can be reanimated anywhere across Gielinor only if the spell is cast on the head while it is still on the ground. Once the head has been picked up, it must be taken to the Dark Altar in Arceuus to be reanimated.

Using a knife on Kbd heads will return three ensouled dragon heads.

Vorkath's head can be used in place of an ensouled dragon head for Reanimate Dragon.

Note: The dragon hunter lance does work on the Reanimated dragon[1].
