Facing Jad Head-on III is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to "Complete TzHaar-Ket-Rak's second challenge with only melee."

Strategy

TzTok-Jad's melee attack speed is faster than its Ranged and Magic attacks. Melee attacks will alter the cycles with the other Jad making protection Prayer switches between two Jads much more difficult.

To avoid this and melee attacks from the first TzTok-Jad, a halberd can be used to attack with melee from a distance while correctly praying against the other Jad. This can also be done for the remaining Jad, however at this point it is possible to Protect from Melee from Jad and then switch to the correct Prayer as needed.
