The hat of the eye is a part of the Raiments of the Eye set, purchased from the Guardians of the Rift reward shop for 400 abyssal pearls. It grants 10% more runes when Runecrafting, and is increased to 60% when the full set is worn.

The hat can be recoloured using abyssal dye (received from the Rewards Guardian) to a red, blue, or green colour scheme.

Players can attune imbued tiaras to the Hat of the Eye to allow it to function as one. This includes the catalytic tiara and the elemental tiara, allowing access to multiple altars simultaneously. All copies of the Hat of the Eye, including those of a different colour, will then be attuned to that tiara. The tiara is not consumed in this manner, and the attunement can be freely switched by using a different tiara. Players can use the hat's right-click "Check" option to see which type of tiara it is currently attuned to.

This item can be stored in the magic wardrobe of a costume room, as part of the Raiments of the Eye sets. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

30 March 2022 (update)	The price for the hat has been decreased from 500 abyssal pearls to 400. Players who purchased one before this update will find upon login that 100 abyssal pearls have been refunded to their bank, their inventory if the bank is full, or on the ground if both are full. The item's value has been lowered from 500 to 400.

Trivia

• The examine text of the regular hat incorrectly refers to the item as a hood, rather than a hat. The coloured variants do not have this error.
• The hat appears to have an elemental tiara on it. However, it does not function as one, unless players have used one on the hat.
