A herb sack is an item that can be bought from Slayer masters for 750 Slayer reward points or from Farmer Gricoller's Rewards for 250 Tithe Farm points.

Buying one requires level 58 in Herblore (cannot be boosted) and allows the player to store up to 30 of each of the grimy standard herbs, for a total of 420 stored. Players can right-click to open the sack, which will have grimy herbs that the player picks up, as well as those harvested from a herb patch and Herbiboars be automatically placed inside the sack, providing there is space for it. A full herb sack is worth 1,224,240.

Players cannot store cleaned herbs in the herb sack. Attempting to do so will result in the message You can't possibly put that in there, it would spoil your sack.

The herb sack can be checked to find out how many different herbs it contains. By clicking it all herbs in inventory will be deposited in the herb sack unless it is full.

The player can use the 'Empty' feature while inside a bank, emptying its contents directly to the players bank.

The herb sack is useful for killing monsters that often drop valuable herbs, such as flesh crawlers, aberrant spectres, and deviant spectres, since it only takes up one inventory slot.

Herbs stored in the sack are not lost upon death. They will be dropped on the ground instead. It's advisable to pick up the herb sack and open it first, that way your herbs will be deposited in there directly.

Like other untradeables, the herb sack is lost on death beyond level 20 Wilderness.
