Imcando hammer (broken) detail.png

The Imcando hammer is a wieldable variant of a hammer mostly used for Smithing or Construction. Once a player gains access to the Ruins of Camdozaal after completing the Below Ice Mountain quest, they may begin to mine barronite rocks for barronite shards and deposits. Mining and smashing barronite deposits gives the player a chance to receive a broken Imcando hammer.

Once the player receives the broken hammer, they can use it on Ramarno, who will repair it for 1,250 Barronite shards. It should be noted that players must have the shards in the inventory, rather than giving them to Ramarno in advance.

Once repaired, it can be used as a hammer, both while equipped and unequipped, in any way that a normal hammer can be used.

The Imcando hammer is especially useful when fighting Tempoross as it will not be destroyed by flames nor be washed away by waves. When doing Mahogany Homes, it saves an inventory slot if wielded. Additionally, the hammer is useful for the defender during Barbarian Assault, as it removes the requirement to pick up a hammer each wave to repair traps broken by penance runners.

It can be stored in a magic wardrobe in a player's costume room.

Players can also exchange the Imcando hammer to Ramarno for 500 Barronite shards or exchange the broken hammer for 350 shards.

It can also be used in a free-to-play world, despite being a members object.[1]
