The iron defender is a defender made of iron. It is dropped by any of the Cyclops on the top floor of the Warriors' Guild, but only once players have obtained a bronze defender. It is one of the two defenders that does not provide a strength bonus, along with the bronze defender.

If the player dies below level 20 Wilderness, it will remain in the player's inventory. However, the item will be unusable and must be repaired with 2,000 coins by using the item on Perdu.
