The iron warhammer is a warhammer stronger than the bronze warhammer. It can be wielded at level 1 Strength. Players can make an iron warhammer with the Smithing skill at level 24 using 3 iron bars, giving 75 Smithing experience.

One spawns in the ruined castle near the bandits just south-west of the Hosidius Mess.

The iron warhammer can be used as a substitute for a regular hammer when banging the big door at the entrance of Bandos' Stronghold in the God Wars Dungeon.
