The jailer is found in the Black Knights' Base in Taverley Dungeon. He guards the jail holding Velrak the explorer, who has the dusty key, required to access the deeper parts of the dungeon. Players who are navigating the dungeon for the first time must kill the jailer to obtain the jail key, which can be used to unlock Velrak's cell. The jailer can be safespotted using Ranged or Magic by standing behind the table at the eastern end of the hallway.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • While most items are left on the ground for 2 minutes after the death of a monster, the jail key only stays on the ground for 1 minute before disappearing.
