Javelins are a type of Ranged ammunition used by light and heavy ballistae. Javelins can be fletched by combining javelin heads with javelin shafts.
Most javelins can also be obtained by buying them from the Ranging Guild, the Void Knight Archery Store, or from Oobapohk's Javelin Store after completion of Monkey Madness II. Amethyst, dragon, and Morrigan's javelins cannot be found in any store.
Weapon poison and its stronger variants can be added to all javelins except Morrigan's javelins.
Javelins are not attracted by Ava's devices and will always break upon hitting a target.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Before the release of Monkey Madness II, javelins were a type of equippable thrown ranged weapon, and had the highest attack range and damage but the lowest attack speed of all thrown weapon types, attacking every 3 seconds if on the Rapid style with an attack range of 5; or a range of 7 but rate of 3.6 seconds when using long distance. In addition, they could not be fletched, making them relatively rare, as the NPCs that drop javelins dropped them in small amounts.
- Their stats were also much weaker before their conversion to an ammunition slot item, as seen below:
