Kanel is on the younger end of Gertrude's four children. Kanel can be found with his brother Philop inside Gertrude's house, playing with toys. The two older children, Wilough and Shilop, are found in Varrock Square.

Kanel has no feature or use in-game. Despite there being a talk-to action available with the child, there is no dialogue, but only a message in chat stating the boy is busy playing.
