She can be fought in the Nightmare Zone after the quest is complete. However, her Nightmare Zone version is currently bugged and will freeze players rapidly and repeatedly, reducing their stats by 3 until they are at or below 3. If you fight her in Nightmare Zone, turn on protect from magic and leave it on. Karamel will teleport next to you and start using melee until protect from magic is turned off.
Fighting Karamel[edit | edit source]
Karamel is weakest to magic, but can only be damaged with fire spells. While not as accurate, ranged and melee are still effective. If using magic, be warned that Karamel's magic attack will drain your stats, potentially putting you below the level required to cast your spells. In addition to the stat drain, this attack will also briefly stun you and reduce your run and special attack energies to 0. The use of stat-restoring or boosting potions is highly recommended for this fight.
If you are a low level player, DO NOT underestimate her magic attacks, as they can hit rapid 7s. The best way to avoid damage is to run up into melee range, where she will prioritise using her ranged attack instead.
Note: Although spells such as Iban Blast do not work on Kamil, they can be very effective versus Karamel.
