The large map is an item that players can buy from Sir Renitee in White Knights' Castle for 1000 coins, provided that they have at least 150 quest points.

It is used in the Quest Hall of a player-owned house (along with four mahogany planks) to build the large map in the map hotspot. Doing so requires level 78 Construction, and grants 591 experience.
