|Examine||Ooh, shiny things!|
The Magpie impling is the fourth highest impling that can be caught in the Impetuous Impulses minigame, and are located throughout Puro-Puro and Gielinor. Players need at least 65 Hunter (or level 62-64 with a hunter potion) to capture this type of impling (75 barehanded). Capturing a Magpie impling will grant the player either 44 Hunter experience if caught in Puro-Puro, or 216 Hunter experience if caught outside of Puro-Puro, throughout Gielinor.
The Magpie impling is one of the most sought-after implings, alongside the Ninja impling and Dragon impling, due to the value of the loot from the Magpie impling being decently high.
Rarity[edit | edit source]
On the Gielinor surface, magpie implings have a 2/100 chance to appear out of a mid-tier invisible spawn, as well as a 50/101 chance of appearing out of a high-tier invisible spawn. In Puro-Puro, magpie implings have a 114/301 chance to emerge from one of the high-tier invisible spawns.
For a more detailed breakdown of impling spawn mechanics, see the main article.
