Mining gloves detail.png

Mining gloves are a pair of gloves purchased from Belona's shop, Mining Guild Mineral Exchange, for 60 unidentified minerals. They can be sold back to her for 48 minerals.

When mining certain rocks with the gloves equipped, there is a chance that the rock will not be depleted, and the player will continue mining the rock until it depletes. This effect stacks with other mining enhancers. The rocks below are affected by the glove's effect:

Rock Chance of
Silver 50%
Coal 40%
Gold 33.33%

By speaking to Belona with these gloves and the superior mining gloves, players can pay her 60 unidentified minerals to combine them into a pair of expert mining gloves.

Changes[edit | edit source]

Date Changes
2 July 2020

Mining gloves can now be used to harvest cave nightshade.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Mining skill guide states that the gloves require level 20 in Mining to wear, even though it is impossible to obtain them at that level, as they are purchased within the Mining Guild, which requires level 60 in Mining to enter.
  • Although they match the appearance of the prospector kit, they do not count towards the set bonus, nor are they able to be stored in a costume room.
