Mithril seeds are a magical type of seed that can be planted almost anywhere to grow some flowers in the ground. On planting the seeds, the player will move one adjacent square then be given the option to pick the flowers. Picking the flowers produces one of nine different colours of flowers.
Mithril seeds are sometimes used to grief players training Hunter and Firemaking, as traps and fires cannot be placed on the same tile as a planted flower. They are also used in PVP, such as in Last Man Standing, as it forces the player to move one tile which can be useful when the player is frozen in place.
