The Stonemason in Keldagrim supplies a small number of expensive materials for Construction. One of these, gold leaves, is consistently profitable to buy from him and sell on the Grand Exchange.

Warning: Do not simply buy all the gold leaves in stock at the Stonemason. First read the guide below to prevent loss due to the increase in store price for every gold leaf bought in the stonemason's shop.

After starting The Giant Dwarf, the easiest way to get to Keldagrim is with the Keldagrim trapdoor in the north-west corner of the Grand Exchange (or via the Blast Furnace minigame teleport). After taking the cart, head to Keldagrim West and the stonemason's shop, which is in the southernmost part. Buy all of his gold leaves—this should take only one trip, and the bank is very close by to the north. You could also buy magic stones, but they are much harder to sell on the Grand Exchange. Limestone bricks are also profitable, but there are 1,000 of them, and it takes about 14 minutes to buy them all, for a profit of 123,000.

Should you wish to do this long-term for moneymaking or if you are an ironman/woman, consider getting the Flamtaer bag from the Shades of Mort'ton (minigame) as you will be able to store 50 limestone bricks in the bag per trip, thus decreasing the amount of trips you will need to buy-out the store, and to increase your gp/hour.

Once you've collected all the materials you want to buy, you can sell them on the Grand Exchange. It's okay to leave them in for a while to sell, as the price is extremely stable, and they will continue to be in high demand.

If buying gold leaf from the Stonemason his price increases per leaf missing, so if you buy too many at once, you will likely make a loss. Currently buying more than one at a time will result in a loss. Therefore, the best strategy is to buy one gold leaf whenever the stock is at 20 while you are buying out the store's limestone bricks. Assuming you are running the entire time, the store will restock every other run to the bank and back. This means you'll end up buying 37 gold leaf by the time you finish buying out the limestone brick (assuming you are not using the flamtaer bag).

Due to constantly changing prices on the Grand Exchange, some information in this article may or may not be current.
It is strongly recommended to check the live prices on the Grand Exchange before making large investments in any method.
