Opal bolt tips are created by using a chisel on a cut opal with 11 Fletching, yielding 1.5 Fletching experience and 12 opal bolt tips.

They are made into opal bolts when used with bronze bolts, requiring 11 Fletching, yielding 16 Fletching experience per 10 bolts. They can also be made into opal dragon bolts, requiring 84 Fletching, yielding 16 Fletching experience per 10 bolts. Both of these can then be enchanted into opal bolts (e) and opal dragon bolts (e) respectively.
