  • Her examine text is a reference to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where one of the characters, Drusilla, says "I met an old man. I didn't like him. He got stuck in my teeth" in response to Spike's question of "Nice walk, pet?"
  • "Pipistrelle" is a reference to the genus of bat Pipistrellus.
