ExamineIt tills the soil.
Advanced data
NPC ID6924

Ploughs are found in the south-east of Hosidius, north-west of the Tithe farm, south-west of the Vinery. Players can push them back and forth to till the soil which earns Hosidius favour. A plough can only be used by one player at a time. Ploughs that are in-use by players cannot be used by another until a period of time of inactivity has elapsed.

While ploughing, every tile has an approximate 12% chance to yield 0.2% favour.[1] There is also an approximate 6% chance based on the player's current Strength level to receive 10 Farming experience.[2] However the ploughs break often and requires a hammer to fix, granting 10 Crafting experience in the process.

It appears that while in this activity, some random events are immediately dismissed should they appear.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • It is possible to turn the plough sideways. This is done by simply repairing the plough from the side.
  • Items dropped on or close to the field will not appear for other players. They will still despawn after 180 seconds.
