Potatoes detail.png

Potatoes is a sack containing between one and ten potatoes. Using the fill option will put up to ten potatoes in the sack and using a potato on it will only add that potato to the sack. Shift-clicking will remove as many potatoes from as the sack into the inventory as possible.

Sacks can be bought from many farming shops, such as Sarah's farming shop north of Port Sarim.

A full sack of potatoes is a requirement for Enlightened Journey.

If onions or cabbage are also in the inventory, they will go into an empty sack before the potatoes. In this case it is recommended to 'use' the sack on a potato and then fill it.

Tips for gathering potatoes[edit | edit source]

Members can obtain many free potatoes in a relatively short time, without Farming, by taking 18 sacks to any potato field, picking potatoes, and filling the sacks. Equip a Charged Glory and teleport to Draynor Village potato field and use a ring of dueling to bank at Castle Wars. This method yields 190 potatoes per trip.

Alternatively, taking more sacks and filling them with potatoes more often will be more click intensive, but will yield more potatoes per trip, 24 sacks will requires clicking each sack 3 times, but yields 244 potatoes per trip.

Potatoes may also be taken one at a time from a teak larder within a player-owned house.
