A Prayer potion is a potion made by using snape grass on a ranarr potion (unf), requiring 38 Herblore, yielding a Prayer potion(3) and 87.5 Herblore experience. A dose of Prayer potion restores Prayer points equal to 7 + 25% of the player's current Prayer level, rounded down. If a Prayer cape or ring of the gods (i) is equipped or a Prayer cape or holy wrench is in the player's inventory, the restore increases to 7 + 27% of the player's current Prayer level, rounded down. It provides less Prayer point restoration than a super restore potion by 1 point per dose.

Prayer potions are always in high demand due to use of Prayers during combat and a need to restore points without travelling to an altar.

After Barbarian Herblore Training, caviar can be added to a Prayer potion(2), requiring 42 Herblore, yielding a Prayer mix and 29 Herblore experience. A Prayer mix has 2 doses, restores Prayer by the same amounts, and heals 6 Hitpoints.

Effects[edit | edit source]

Prayer restore is calculated with:

If a ring of the gods (i) or Prayer cape is equipped, or alternatively if a Prayer cape or holy wrench is in the player's inventory, the amount of restored Prayer points is calculated with:
