Proselyte armour

A player wearing proselyte armour.

Proselyte armour can be obtained after completing The Slug Menace quest by purchasing it from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park. The quest is a requirement for wearing the set, along with Defence level of 30 and Prayer level of 20. It has the same stats as its Adamant armour counterpart, except for the prayer bonus and lower weight.

Proselyte armour is commonly used for completing Slayer tasks that players employ Protection Prayers to complete. This armour saves a lot of food and banking as Prayer potions are used alongside its high Prayer bonus to protect the player from damage longer than armour with an average amount of Prayer bonus, given that the player's Prayer level is high enough to use combat Protection Prayers.

Although this armour is trimmed, it cannot be obtained from any Treasure Trail.

It consists of:

• Proselyte sallet (full helm)
• Proselyte hauberk (platebody)
• Proselyte cuisse (platelegs)
• Proselyte tasset (plateskirt)

As with all black and white equipment, the Proselyte armour cannot be made from raw materials using the Smithing skill.

Proselyte armour does not count as a Saradomin item in the God Wars Dungeon.

This set can be stored in the armour case space of a costume room in a player-owned house. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
