The ranging cape is a Cape of Accomplishment awarded to players who have achieved 99 Ranged. The skillcape and its respective hood can be bought from Aaron the Armour salesman in the Ranging Guild for 99,000 coins.

Like all skill capes, the Ranging cape gives +9 to all defensive stats, and also a +4 bonus to prayer if it is trimmed, which requires a separate skill at level 99. The cape is automatically trimmed if this condition is met.

When the ranging cape is equipped, it grants players the ammo-saving effects of Ava's accumulator. By default, the cape will only provide the 72% ammo-saving effect of the accumulator, not the improved 80% savings of Ava's assembler. However, a Vorkath's head can be used on the cape to increase its ammo-saving rate to 80% to match the assembler. This will be active for all ranging capes from then on. (Note: an Ava's assembler cannot be used on the Ranging cape, you must use a Vorkath's head)

As of 1 April 2020, there are 208,353 current members that have achieved level 99 in Ranged.
