Raurg bones from the tombs at Jiggig.

Raurgs are an extinct race of creatures in the service of Bandos that were likely wiped out during the cataclysmic God Wars. Their remains, Raurg bones, can be found in the coffins at Jiggig.

The appearance and nature of Raurgs is largely unknown, they are however suspected to be similar to ogres, orks, fayrgs and ourgs.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Although it has not been officially defined what Raurgs are, Mod John A speculated that Raurgs could have been a subtype of either ourgs or ogres.[1]
    • Mod Chaose described them in a lore marathon session thus: Raurgs were scouts, assassins, and couriers in the Bandosian army. They were lanky and thin, built for speed, and were skilled at camouflage. They ran on all fours to cover longer distances, faster.[2]

These guys have a hunched posture, they're kind of almost quadrupeds, so they'd be running along on four legs, just be so fast, get in there, get out, do their job."
