Not to be confused with Corsair Cove Resource Area.

The Resource Area is a small enclosure located east of the Deserted Keep. It is guarded by Mandrith. An entrance fee of 7,500 coins is required to enter the resource area. If a player logs out while inside the area, players will be brought to the area entrance, and must pay 7,500 coins again to re-enter the area. However, players will only need to pay 6,000 coins to enter if they have completed the medium Wilderness Diary, 3750 gp if they have completed the hard Wilderness Diary and can enter free of charge if they have completed the elite Wilderness Diary. The mine is one of nine in RuneScape where three iron rocks can be mined without moving, thus ideal for power levelling, with the other eight being the Mining Guild, Legends' Guild mine, Al Kharid Mine, Piscatoris mine, Lovakengj mine, Verdant Valley on Fossil Island, Mount Karuulm mine, Trahaearn mine.

The resource area contains various Fishing, Woodcutting and Mining resources. An NPC, Piles, will note items obtained within the area for 50 coins per item.

The resource area also contains two Runite Golems, which can be killed then mined for runite ores. There is also a permanent fire, which allows fishers to cook their dark crabs without the need to create a fire. In addition, there is a furnace and anvil within the area.

Players should be warned the area is in the Wilderness, and so players are able to attack them here. It is advised to bring extra coins so players may re-enter the area when logging out to help evade player killers.

The area is unique for being a place where the whole cycle from mining ores to stackable smithing produce can be done within very short distances.
