I'm a noob at this and can't find how to edit in a request, but I hope someone views this. The Void Knight equipment page has some messed up coding going on and I don't know how to debug it. It's under the Bonuses section. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gamer4792 (talk) on 02:56, 28 October 2014 (UTC).
Triggering the "Bad words" hook
Hi, I'm new here and I wanted to contribute to a page that desperately needed attention. I have written a complete overhaul of the Random event page to reflect the 2014 update and to add more info. However, when I attempt to publish it, I get an error stating I've tripped the "Bad words" hook. I have the source saved in a .txt file. Is there anyone who can review my page to tell me what words are tripping this hook?
Sorry if this isn't the correct place to ask, but if someone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ADA Refactor (talk) on 18:48, 8 March 2015 (UTC).

Creating drop table
How do you create a new drop list? Every monster has this nice table, but I can't make it from scratch.
I know how to edit one, but I'd like to know how to make one, so I can put one in the Magic log section and many more in the future.
Can't find any help on that either. I got the DropTableHead going, but nothing else yet. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.108.151.81 (talk) on 12:26, 4 April 2015 (UTC).
- For the magic logs page I added
{{ItemDropsLine|Monster=Nature impling|Combat=N/A|Quantity=1|Rarity=Common}} and then |} after it ended. Are you editing in source mode or visual? Mage Hybrid talk 13:12, April 4, 2015 (UTC)
@MageHybrid
I didn't know there were options, I just click 'edit' in the top of the screen, but I'd love to just fill in codes! That would be so much faster. I'm planning on adding alot of stuff to the wiki, in the same catagory as this. At every item I want to put this table in and show where you can get it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.108.151.81 (talk) on 07:32, 5 April 2015 (UTC).

Switching to the old, brown, osrs theme.
Hey, for some reason I'm now seeing every page in the "modern" runescape theme, which includes a hi-res RS3 background and (for some godforsaken reason) links which "blossom" into hard-to-read rainbows when you hover over them. Can I change this back to the old theme with a nice brown background and no stupid HTML games? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Branwall (talk) on 15:48, 1 April 2016 (UTC).
Request: Fixing Basilisk drop table
Request: Fixing Basilisk drop table.
I tried my hand at editing a wikipedia page for Basilisks and I screwed the formatting up. I have no idea how to fix it and I need help to undo it. Basilisk Here is the problem, specifically with the weapons drop. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.0.17.116 (talk) on 23:36, 26 February 2017 (UTC).
Image resizing
I updated the garden fence image but it stretches the info box. How do i shrink it so it doesn't stretch the info box on the page, but retains full size when you click on it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Slurpeeeeeee (talk) on 18:33, 11 June 2017 (UTC).
Wines of zamorak drops from KQ
Hi. I've stumbled upon this tweet of Mod Ahs (https://twitter.com/DamoOSRS/status/705621002063998976?s=09) which mentions the exact droprate of wines of zamorak from the Kalphite Queen, 10/128. I'm sure people who visit this wikia are interested in this number, but I don't know how to really edit anything in this wikia while keeping the right formatting. So it would be nice if anyone could help me out on this one and edit it for me! :D —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.73.223.93 (talk) on 11:11, 24 July 2017 (UTC).
- Thanks for letting us know, I've added the drop rate for the wine and also rolling the herb table as I noticed it was there too. — KnazO 11:26, July 24, 2017 (UTC)
Superior Slayer Unique Drop Table
After the introduction of the Eternal Slayer Gem the superior slayer unique drop table rates are incorrect. The sum of the dust and mist battlestaves have a rate of 7/16 and the imbued heart and gem have a rate of 1/8. These total to 9/8 which is of course impossible. Since all the superior slayer drop tables are connected in code, could someone with experience edit the underlying code that affects all of them? With the release of the eternal slayer gem it was announced[1] that it would share the initial drop rate of the imbued heart. This means the gem and heart would stay at 1/8 and the battlestaves would drop to 6/16 (which is 3/8). — aligenius5 19:29, August 20, 2017 (UTC)
Skeleton (Lair of Tarn Razorlor)
This Wiki page MUST be created. I am not sure on the policy on this site for creating a new page, nor do I know how to, but it must be done. I would be willing to help in its creation (currently killing skeletons and taking a tally of drop rates). All the Skeletons within the Lair of Tarn Razorlor have vastly different drops then the regular skeletons found throughout Runescape. The level 40 and 63 Skeletons are unique in that they are the only monster (that I know of) in the game that drop the Bronze Platebody, as well as a 2 dose Agility Potion, and the level 87 Skeleton is unique in that it is the only monster to drop the Bronze Plateskirt. The level 40 Skeleton also drops the Adamant Kiteshield quite often, which would be a huge boon to Ironmen looking for an easy melee shield. Also, the Bronze Platebody pages says in the where to get section "They are sometimes dropped by skeletons " however, this is a lie because regular skeletons do not drop Bronze Platebodies; only the ones in Tarns Lair drop Bronze Platebodies. -Madoracle —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Madoracle (talk) on 08:04, 8 November 2017 (UTC).
Dragon Slayer 2 quest guide
While following the guide on the wiki, I came across a sentence that wasn't specific enough. At the part of "Forging the pieces", the text says "Use fire spells on the three structures", but when using fire strike, fire bolt or fire blast, it'll say "you'll need a more powerful fire spell to light that." Only Fire Wave did the job for me, but I didn't have the permission to edit the guide unfortunately, so could someone else do it for me? Thanks! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.73.223.93 (talk) on 21:25, 4 January 2018 (UTC).

MINOR CHANGE TO OPTIMAL QUEST GUIDE
Honestly don't know how any of this wiki stuff works. My apolgies if I am posting this in the wrong section but I am trying to send a brief idea and bring attention to a extremly minor flaw I found on the wiki.
I recently came back to runescape after years of not playing. I decided a quest cape would be a cool acheivement to get and as I was starting a fresh account I figured I would use the OPTIMAL QUEST GUIDE that is on this wiki. I very much like that guide and appericate the time someone put into makeing it. However one minor issue with it is near the top section of it.
Inbetween the queen of theives and the depths of despair quest, it is noted that the player should ideally reach 100% favor in the pisc. house. Hunting the worms is the most effective from level from 30-100% favor, however this requires 15 hunter. I was mildly dissapointed to discover this when I attempted to do this. I realize this is a severely minor thing and im sure there are a few people who are trying to follow this guide exactly in order as I am. Maybe it is not worth the time but perhaps adding a note about this requirement or slightly rearranging the optimal queste guide list could prevent other players from running into this.
Again thank you very much for this wiki. I know every player has come here at at least one point in their time on OSRS and it is an incredible resource. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.213.145.164 (talk) on 07:07, 14 May 2018 (UTC).

Game help
HI, where is the correct place on the wiki for people to ask for help with the game - assuming that the relevant page hasn't answered their question -- Sannse <staff /> ([[w:c:community:Forum:Community_Central_Forum|help forum]] | [[w:c:community:Blog:Wikia_Staff_Blog |blog]]) 23:21, August 14, 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Sannse. We don't offer that kind of service here as articles should already answer any relevant question - the only other thing I can think of is our discord, where anyone can ask questions freely. Sorry for the late response, and hope this helps. --

Level up tables
I had the idea to add level up tables to each skill, as a separate page. Finding out what can be done at each skill level is useful, and gives a good idea about the benefits of training skills to certain levels. At the moment, most skill pages have tables with their main points of interest, such as log types for woodcutting and their respective levels. The in-game skill guides also do a good job at this, but because there are many tabs, it can be a bit confusing if you just want to know what you can do or unlock at a certain level. On the RS3 wikia this has been a thing for a while already. I would like to implement this to this wikia as well and would be willing to personally contribute to the tables of the skills.
A short list of everything that could be included:
- Level unlocks and bonusses from the skill guides
- All quest skill requirements
- All achievement diary requirements
- Minigame requirements and unlocks
- Miniquest requirements
- Miscellanious unlocks and requirements
If this idea has not already been declined, would anyone who could help me set up these pages? -- Vildjagaren, August 29, 14:32 (UTC)
- Hi,
- Yea, these pages admittedly *should* exist but just don't. If you have a Discord, I would highly recommend dropping into the #wiki-osrs channel on our discord channel to make it easier to get in contact with fellow potential editors for this project. Regardless, I'll pass it around. --

Drop Rate Formula on User Page
Hia! I was hoping to add a drop rate calculator to my page since a lot of people seem to need that. I don't know how to code at all but I know the formula for it: 100(1-(droprate-1/droprate)^killcount) - is there a way for me to add this to my page myself or would I need to be allowed to code it or something?

Hey, I used to be able to grab my chat head picture from RS3 by going to this link but it seems like I can't do that anymore, is that some kind of safety precaution or am I doing something wrong? Chee (talk) 23:17, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

Non-GE Items
It seems like there are a lot of item pages that don't have any GE information, and the items are listed on the Non-GE Items page. Looking at the list of non-GE items, a large number of them are tradeable on the GE-- for example, abyssal dagger, adamant arrow, and combat potion. I checked the source of a couple of these tradeable items and they don't seem to have the [Category:Non-GE items] tag, yet they still have a link to it in the Categories section. It seems like most of the tradeable items in this category are items with multiple states-- poisoned/unpoisoned, charged/uncharged, 4-dose/3-dose, et cetera. Am I missing something, or should these pages be edited? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by VileTankTop (talk) on 05:10, 19 October 2018 (UTC).
- The abyssal dagger page seems very problematic - no distinction between the normal and poisoned variants, no GE info, and the attack speed info seems to be wrong. I can take a look tomorrow but I think this is a bigger problem. Adragon111 (talk) 05:55, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
- Riblet and iN believe they've figured out the issue causing it and will be working on fixing it. Thanks for the report!

- P.S. Attack speed on Abyssal dagger is correct, recently we switched to Jagex's official attack speeds (the old 6 is be equivalent to Jagex's 4). - iN008talk 06:58, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

I was just curious why the Runecraft page redirects to Runecrafting, rather than the other way around, since the in-game skill's name is Runecraft. Chee (talk) 01:52, 29 October 2018 (UTC)

"Prevent Removal of Floor Template"
I'm attempting to properly alphabetize some of the cryptic clues on the Treasure Trails page, but I'm unable to do so. The abuse rule cited is "prevent removal of floor template." Getting Help
It is not clear how to get help in the game. I have been looking over wiki and forums and pages for an hour now and I am completely confused how to file a support issue. This user help seems to be about editing the wiki, not game support. The forums have some info, not on my specific issue, but there is NO create new post button, all i can do is read other posts. Someone please help me know how to get help on a quest. My quest journal is telling me what the next step is, but i have done it already and the npc is not responding in the way the walkthrough reads and i cannot continue (corsair curse) no matter which npc I talk to. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 73.97.68.8 (talk) on 19:23, 25 November 2018 (UTC).
- This page is indeed about wiki help. However, while I can't say I know the particular issue you have, the OSRS advice forums should have a "New thread" button when you are logged in to the site. --Julia talk 20:14, 25 November 2018 (UTC)
Herblore training & broken formatting
I was editing Herblore training guide using the visual editor, and tables/templates became broken after saving the edit. This isn't the first time this has happened, any way how to prevent this from happening again? --Kelafornia (talk) 05:20, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- Unfortunately that's just a side effect of visual editor in a lot of cases. The only viable workaround would be to use source. Sorry this couldn't be more helpful. -

Finished for now (maybe), also added some other methods like antivenoms. Pretty sure the table had all the 14x14 potions as before (except for normal restore pots which I forgot), I was planning to make a separate section for potions that are different from the typical 14x14 (like staminas and super combats), but couldn't come up with anything decent so I put them to the same table. I also decided to leave out making guam/tarromin tar because those are terrible xp/h and have been pretty expensive for a while.
There are a plethora of options for potions and some similar xp/h method can sometimes be much cheaper due to constantly changing prices. High-level players do magic pots or sara brews post-99 because those are the highest xp/h (if you don't count tick manip extended super antifires), or sometimes super combats for cheap xp. I'd assume most people who aren't going for the fastest xp/h usually choose some cheaper mid-level potion (like super energies/super restores etc), and adding level ranges for those would make the page look very cluttered and confusing. This is why I chose the table format instead of the more traditional "method x: level y to z" because it's much more concise to show the options that way.
I can make a section for fastest xp from 1 to 99 when I have more time, if there's interest for it. --Kelafornia (talk) 00:15, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
Requesting a helper to look at discussion page.
It seems that someone accidentally placed a request at the discussion page of this help page.
I suggest that in the instructions it should state to put suggestions on the project page and not discussions page. I also suggest to put a heading on the discussion page stating, the discussion page is not meant for user help requests. 2604:2000:1241:45AC:28A8:48DA:2E93:F237 04:36, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
