Userboxes are templates that are designed to be added to a user's user page.

Adding userbox table[edit source]

To keep userboxes organized, users can create a table to contain the userboxes. This can be done by typing {{userboxes}} and {{userboxesend}}.

Example:

{{userboxes}}
{{Userbox/Pastime EditsWiki}}
{{userboxesend}}

Gives You:

The table's appearance can be customized by inserting additional lines of code for the template.

Example:

{{Userboxes
| align = Alignment (left or right). Default is right.
| left = Any left margin value. Default is 1.
| right = Any right margin value. Default is 0.
| backgroundcolor = Any web color (name or #XXXXXX hex format). Default is #FFFFFF.
| bordercolor = Any web color (name or #XXXXXX hex format). Default is #99B3FF.
| extra-css = Allows you to provide additional CSS style information.
| textcolor = Any web color (name or #XXXXXX hex format). Default is #000000.
| toptext = Changes the standard Userbox text and link. Can include wiki-markup.
| columns = Number of columns (default is 1).
| width = Width of Userboxes (in pixels, %, em or other css unit, does not have to be defined)
| height = Height of Userboxes (in pixels, %, em or other css unit, does not have to be defined)
| collapsible = Collapsibility of the box. "0" (default) returns not collapsible, "1" returns collapsible but uncollapsed, and "2" returns collapsible and collapsed.
}}
{{Userbox/Pastime EditsWiki}}
{{userboxesend}}

Userboxes can be selected from the userbox categories list and added to the table. They must be placed between {{userboxes}} and {{userboxesend}}. Users are able to create their own userboxes by copying the code of the base userbox template onto their user page, and then replacing the default settings with their own information.

Adding userboxes[edit source]

To add a userbox to a user page without using a table, users need only to find the userbox in the userbox categories list and then copy the code onto a user page.

Example:

{{Userbox/Pastime EditsWiki}}

Gives You:
