Rune pouch note detail.png

A rune pouch note is an item that can be purchased at Justine's stuff for the Last Shopper Standing for 75 Last Man Standing points. It can be used on a banker or bank booth/chest in exchange for a rune pouch.

As players cannot own more than one rune pouch, rune pouch notes can act as backup pouches should the player lose their rune pouch. In addition, they are tradeable, whereas rune pouches themselves are not.

The Bank of RuneScape promises to pay the bearer, on demand, one Rune Pouch, provided the bearer is eligible to receive one. Use this Note on a bank booth to exchange it.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This item was added because of a mistake made in a content poll. The mechanics of the rune pouch do not allow for a player to own more than one at a time, but the question "should the rune pouch be tradeable?" passed the poll. This was a mistake because if the rune pouch were to become tradeable, then players by necessity would be able to own more than one at a time. To rectify this, the tradeable rune pouch note was introduced.
  • The phrase "[...] promises to pay the bearer on demand..." is based on the declaration found on British pound sterling banknotes.
