Runite Golems are found in the Resource Area east of the Deserted Keep. They are weak to melee, especially pickaxes. A higher Mining level means more damage will be dealt. When it dies its head will become a runite rock for 1 minute before disappearing, which can be mined with 85 Mining. Once defeated anyone can mine it. Once mined it respawns in 5 minutes. There are only two of them in each world.

Changes[edit | edit source]

Date Changes
14 April 2021

The Runite golem was made into a golem.

30 April 2015
  • Runite Golems no longer remain poisoned when transforming into a runite rock on death.
  • Varrock armour mining benefits now apply when mining runite golem corpses.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • It is based on the Rock golem, with a very similar appearance and weakness to pickaxes.
  • If the Golem takes another hit after it is killed, it will cause the runite rock to despawn (for example the second arrow of a Dark Bow).
