Sanfew serum combines the properties of super restore, superantipoison, and Relicym's balm potions (though, unlike the latter, will provide fifteen minutes of immunity to disease when consumed). The duration of the antipoison lasts six minutes, the same time as a superantipoison does. The restore value obtained per dose is 4 + 30% of the player's base level (round down) in each of the affected skills.
Sanfew serum is made by adding, in order, unicorn horn dust, clean snake weed and nail beast nails to an already made super restore. Partially completed Sanfew serums are called mixture - step 1 and step 2, but are not drinkable in these forms. Level 65 Herblore and completion of Zogre Flesh Eaters is required in order to make this potion.
96 Herblore experience is given for a completed 1-dose Sanfew serum, 128 experience for a 2-dose serum, 160 experience for a 3-dose serum and 192 experience for a 4-dose serum. Or more simply, the total experience given can be calculated with:
Sanfew serums can also be used on nail beasts, which can deal 20-40 damage per dose and grants melee experience. This requires the player to have no weapons equipped; if they do, it will automatically be unequipped if there is space in their inventory.
As Sanfew serums' higher price often makes super restores and prayer potions more cost efficient for restoring prayer, Sanfew serums are notably useful in situations where prayer restoration as well as poison protection are needed and inventory space is limited, such as Dagannoth Kings, as it fulfills the two requirements in one inventory space. Similarly, Sanfew serums are effective for fighting The Nightmare as they offer the same utility against parasites as Relicym's balm while also offering prayer restoration.
If a ring of the gods (i) or Prayer cape is equipped, or alternatively if a Prayer cape or holy wrench is in the player's inventory, the prayer restore increases to 4 + 32% of the player's current Prayer level, rounded down. This does not affect the rate of restoration of stats other than Prayer.
Stat restore is calculated with:

The full creation process requires an untradeable ingredient, Snake weed, which can only found by searching marshy jungle vines south-west of Tai Bwo Wannai or as a drop from Jogres and Tribesmen.
